Policy Statement/Goal

To establish an inclusive social protection system that enables citizens to achieve a socially acceptable standard of living and pursue economic and social development.

Background & Rationale

The policy responds to rising poverty, vulnerability, climate-related shocks, COVID-19 impacts, and lack of coordination across programs. It aims to create a unified, systems-based social protection framework after devolution under the 18th Amendment.
