Benazir Income Support Programme

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is Pakistan’s flagship social protection initiative aimed at reducing poverty and supporting vulnerable households, particularly women. Established by the Government of Pakistan, BISP provides unconditional and conditional cash transfers to low-income families, while also promoting financial inclusion, human capital development, and resilience. It uses data-driven targeting systems to ensure transparency and reach the most deserving segments of society.
